France: 3 investigated over Duchess of Cambridge vacation photos

France: 3 investigated over Duchess of Cambridge vacation photos
(CNN) -- A magazine publisher, a photographer and a regional newspaper are under investigation in France for invasion of privacy over the publication of vacation pictures of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, authorities said Thursday.
An unnamed female photographer was placed under investigation on April 2, according to Caroline Chassain, spokeswoman for the Nanterre prosecutor.
Mondadori France, publisher of the French edition of Closer magazine, was placed under investigation on April 4, and La Provence, a regional daily newspaper, was placed under investigation Monday.
Topless photos of Catherine, wife of Britain's Prince William, appeared in the French edition of Closer. Photos of her in a bikini were published in La Provence in September.

'Idol' Panic: Secret Plot to Replace Mariah Carey With Jennifer Lopez Fails (Exclusive)

'Idol' Panic: Secret Plot to Replace Mariah Carey With Jennifer Lopez Fails (Exclusive)
These sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Carey, who was touted as the big new addition to the judge’s panel this year, responded with a threat of litigation. With that, the plan was dropped, though Idol's producers still are negotiating with Lopez -- who served as a popular judge during the past two seasons -- to appear on the show’s finale in May. And insiders say a search already has begun to replace Carey, most likely Nicki Minaj and possibly the entire judge’s panel for next season.
PHOTOS: The Next Season of 'American Idol': Will It Work?
"This is just another ridiculous Idol judge rumor, likely started by talks of Jennifer performing on the finale," a Fox spokeswoman tells THR in a statement. Producer Fremantle NorthAmerica declined comment. A rep for Carey denies these allegations. Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe tells THR, "I have not been included in any conversation regarding replacing Mariah with Jen this season."
American Idol kicked off its 12th season on solid enough footing. Earning a 6.0 rating in the key adults 18-to-49 demographic and 17.9 million total viewers in its January return, the 17 percent dip was less precipitous than some of the bigger drops in recent years. But the months since have been less kind. The Wednesday performance show is averaging a 4.3 rating in 18-to-49, its worst performance since its inaugural season in 2001. And it is dropping nearly every week.
Even worse for Idol, the robust reboot of NBC’s The Voice with Shakira and Usher recently has seen ratings climb to a 5.2 in the demo during the same week Idol bottomed out with a series-low 2.8. Adding insult to injury, Idol made headlines last week when preliminary numbers showed its total viewers for a results show was beaten by a repeat of CBS' The Big Bang Theory.
PHOTOS: 'American Idol' Season 12: Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj Search for a Winner
Sources say Fox reality chief Mike Darnell and Fremantle’s Cecile Frot-Coutaz have been especially concerned about the Idol ratings trajectory, and they hoped that a surprise shake-up on the judges' panel would help. Carey, a multiplatinum and Grammy-winning singer, is perhaps Idol's most pedigreed judge ever. But despite her eight-figure salary, she has seemed passive and disengaged in her comments on the show, failing to generate the type of fan following that Lopez had when she judged.
By contrast, Minaj has turned into Idol's sharp-tongued firebrand, especially seated next to more vanilla judge Keith Urban and stalwart Randy Jackson. Nonetheless, internal Fox research is said to show that Minaj is not a hit with some of the show's audience. "The core viewer is a Midwestern, Southern, older woman who is threatened by Nicki’s aggressiveness," says one knowledgeable source.
Producers are said to have pushed for the pairing of Carey and Minaj, thinking it would provide for a panel of diverse opinions and make for good TV if they were in conflict. But Idol insiders fear the dynamic has turned off some loyal fans.
Because producers backed off their plan to shake up the show midseason, attention is said to already have turned to next season. A source who has been approached as a possible judge replacement tells THR that Idol producers are looking for “not necessarily a star” to join the show. That might include a music professional with strong credentials.

Rihanna Rewrites Record For Most Pop Songs No. 1s

Rihanna Rewrites Record For Most Pop Songs No. 1s
In tallying her 10th leader, she passes Katy Perry for the most toppers in the chart's 20-year history.

Rihanna becomes the first artist in the 20-year history of Billboard's Nielsen BDS-based Pop Songs radio airplay chart to tally 10 No. 1s, as "Stay," featuring Mikky Ekko, rises 2-1.
Rihanna breaks a tie with Katy Perry, who's notched nine No. 1s since her 2008 arrival; also impressively, Rihanna has rung up her No. 1 sum since just 2006, when "SOS," her first leader, reached the summit. She'd last led with "We Found Love," featuring Calvin Harris, for eight weeks, marking her longest command, in late 2011/early 2012.
The record for most No. 1s is the latest for Rihanna on Pop Songs. She previously established the marks for most entries (35) and top 10s (23) dating to the ranking's Oct. 3, 1992, launch.
"Stay" also charges 11-7 on Adult Pop Songs, becoming her third top 10 on the list, and debuts at No. 30 on Adult Contemporary. (It's reached No. 3 on the all-format airplay/sales/streaming-fueled Billboard Hot 100.)
Also notably, "Stay" is only the second piano-and-vocal-only No. 1 of the 259 songs to have ruled Pop Songs. The first? The song that "Stay" dethrones after three weeks at the summit, Bruno Mars' "When I Was Your Man."
Here's a recap of Rihanna's record 10 Pop Songs No. 1s:
2006, "SOS" (one week at No. 1)
2008, "Take a Bow" (three)
2008, "Disturbia" (three)
2008, "Live Your Life" (T.I. feat. Rihanna) (two)
2010, "Rude Boy" (two)
2010, "Love the Way You Lie" (Eminem feat. Rihanna) (two)
2010, "Only Girl (In the World)" (three)
2011, "S&M" (one)
2011, "We Found Love" (Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris) (eight)
2013, "Stay" (Rihanna feat. Mikky Ekko) (one to date)

Ke$ha Talks Smoking 'Glitter' With Snoop, Drinking Her Own Urine

Ke$ha Talks Smoking 'Glitter' With Snoop, Drinking Her Own Urine
We all know what Snoop prefers to smoke. So when the rapper and pop-party girl Ke$hapuffed on what appeared to a joint onstage at the MTV Movie Awards earlier this month, many viewers considered the stunt another one of his public displays of pot-smoking.
But in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Ke$ha explains, giggling: "It was glitter. … We were just smoking my glitter."
The free-spirited 26-year-old "Die Young" singer, known for dousing fans with glitter at her concerts, among other exploits, is known for her endless parade of outrageous Burning Man-esque costumes (she once made a bra out of fans' teeth) and fun-loving "Whiskey for all!" philosophy as well as for dance-pop hits such as "Tik Tok" and "We R Who We R." Despite her TMI lifestyle, not much is known about the girl behind the public attention magnet.
On Tuesday, MTV premieres Ke$ha's docu-series, My Crazy Beautiful Life, and in the first episode, viewers will discover that there's apparently no difference between Ke$ha the Pop Provocateur and Ke$ha in Real Life. She says, "there was definitely no script. There was nothing contrived. It’s all real. It’s all raw. And it’s all really honest because that’s kind of what I stand for anyways."
Among the offstage antics caught on camera by her documentary filmmaker brother Lagan Sebert: Ke$ha jumping out of an airplane, making out in clubs, crying over comments from a nasty blogger and ... drinking her own urine?
"I heard it was good for you. That was, like, the rumor," she says. "But I don’t know. I’m also just one that doesn’t shy away from things. I’m not good at saying 'no' so I just figure, f--k it, I’ll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don’t think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn’t probably do it again."
Honestly?
"I’m curious like a cat. I’m just curious about things. It’s the same reason I jumped out of an airplane is that, I figure, just try stuff once. Why not?”
Ke$ha, who's shown pining for an ex-boyfriend who was her first love as well as hunting for "ginger beards" during a tour stop in Scotland, says she wasn't uncomfortable with Sebert documenting her most intimate moments.
"We have a fun little game, him and I, where when I was about to make out with some dude I would just yell, ‘Lagan! Earmuff!’ And then he would just keep filming," she recalls, with a laugh, adding: "Although I think my persona is that I’m a slut, I’m actually not a slut. I just like to kiss people. That’s usually as far as it goes."
This Friday, Ke$ha kicks off a global tour in support of her latest album, Warrior, the follow-up to her 2010 smash debut, Animal.
"It's imperfect and celebratory of wild and fun and s--t," she teases. "This show’s just gonna be like a sensory assault. Like my message on steroids. It’s gonna be lots of glitter. Like I want to cover every single person there in at least some glitter."
Earlier this month, The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne revealed in a Reddit Ask Me Anything session that his band and Ke$ha are working on a full-length record together to be dubbed Lip$haThey previously collaborated on the 2012 The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends effort.
When asked about Lip$ha's status, Ke$ha responds: "Honestly, I have no idea. We just are two weirdos that get together and make noise. And it’s just kind of whatever the mood strikes because it’s a very different thing than making a pop record. When I make a pop record, I have deadlines I need to adhere to, a lot of people’s opinions. But when him and I get together and work on music we just kind of go crazy and we just get super-weird so I don’t really know when and where it’s ever going to see the light of day. But for me it’s just an experimental musical adventure every time we get together."

The daily gossip: Psy's 'Gentleman' is bigger than Justin Bieber, and more

The daily gossip: Psy's 'Gentleman' is bigger than Justin Bieber, and more

5 top pieces of celebrity gossip — from the nonexistent Friends reunion to Britney Spears' "Smurftastic" new song

1. Psy's "Gentleman" is bigger than Justin Bieber

For months, critics have been referring to Korean singer Psy, who went viral with last summer's inescapable "Gangnam Style," as a one-hit wonder. Clearly, they were wrong. After being on YouTube for less than a week, Psy's "Gangnam Style" follow-up, "Gentleman," has amassed over 120 million views. According to E! Online, the "Gentleman" video was viewed 18.9 million times in the first 24 hours it was posted, smashing the 10.6 million views earned by the Justin Bieber/Nicki Minaj collaboration "Beauty and a Beat" in its first 24 hours last October. Rolling Stone adds that the "Gentlaman" video includes a woman "who gets a whiff of what's inside Psy's pants at a library," so anyone who can't live without seeing that for themselves should join the millions who have already watched the "Gentleman" video as soon as possible.

2. Sorry, the Friends reunion isn't happening

If yesterday was a Friends episode, it would have been titled "The One Where Everyone Gets Really Excited About a Possible Friends Reunion." But alas, some things really are too good to be true. Us Weekly reports that Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman has debunked rumors of a reunion. "I'm going to clear this up right now — no, it's not happening!" said Kauffman, which does sound pretty definitive. So for David Schwimmer's sake, let's hope DreamWorks keeps churning out Madagascar movies.

3. Britney Spears promises her Smurfs 2 song will be "Smurftastic"

Just when you thought your anticipation for this summer's The Smurfs 2 couldn't get any more breathless: According to Access Hollywood, Britney Spears will perform a new song titled "Ooh La La" for the sequel, which will play over the film's end credits. "I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER," said Spears in a statement, adding, "I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'l think it's Smurfastic!" Spears' statement gives absolutely no indication as to whether "Smurftastic" is a good or a bad thing, so in this spirit of the sequel, we'll just say that a Smurfs-themed Britney Spears song sounds absolutely Smurf-y to us.

4. The 2013 Oscar producers have been rehired for next year's ceremony

Demonstrating the kind of inexplicable decision-making that leads to something like an awkward, seemingly endless William Shatner cameo, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has rehired Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who produced this year's widely criticized Oscar ceremony, to produce the Oscars in 2014. "We believe that continuity is the most important thing," said Academy president Howard Koch, who apparently places "quality" and "tastefulness" further down the list. Though The Guardian says that Seth MacFarlane has already stated that he won't return as host, Oscar viewers can presumably look forward to more of the same from Zadan and Meron — including, we can only hope, another long, pointless tribute to themselves.

5. Don't worry, everyone — The Cleveland Show isn't canceled yet

On Wednesday morning, members of the Animation Guild reported that Fox's The Cleveland Show — the animated comedy by Seth MacFarlane that isn't Family Guy or American Dad, and that pretty much everybody had forgotten existed — had been put out of its misery by Fox. But the 12 remaining Cleveland Show fans don't need to start a Kickstarter for the series just yet; according to Entertainment Weekly, Fox "says they haven't officially made a decision" on The Cleveland Show, even though the network already renewed every other series in its animation block months ago. Until Fox makes an official decision on the series, TV viewers are encouraged to treat The Cleveland Show the same way they always have, by totally ignoring it.

Justin Bieber posts racy cartoon picture of himself in bed with a 'Belieber'
Justin Bieber shows quite the love for his “Beliebers” in his latest Instagram post.
The teen pop star uploaded and cartoon shot of himself Tuesday shirtless in bed with a topless dark-haired girl labeled a "Belieber."

RELATED: JUSTIN BIEBER HOPES ANNE FRANK WOULD HAVE BEEN A FAN

This latest racy pic follows the Biebs uploading a series of shirtless selfies flaunting his tight and toned physique captioning it with some quippy words.

The 19-year-old singer was recently scrutinized by critics as "tasteless" and "immature" for a controversial Tweet he put out to his over 37 million followers after a visit to the Anne Frank Museum on Friday.
"Truly inspiring to be able to come here, Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber," he wrote.
"We really think it's great that a 19-year-old person wants to know who Anne Frank was and know more about her," a museum spokeswoman told the Daily News on Sunday about Bieber’s comments having good intentions.
"It's great that he's been here, and we hope a lot of his fans will want to read about Anne Frank."

Will 'Scary Movie' Strike Out '42' At The Box Office?

Will 'Scary Movie' Strike Out '42' At The Box Office?
As the film-loving public turns its attention toward Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, theatergoers are expected to put either baseball biopic "42" or horror spoof "Scary Movie 5" in the #1 spot at the box office this weekend.

On the art house front, MTV Movie Awards Best Male Performance nominee Ben Affleck, fresh off the Oscar victories for "Argo," will be back in theaters this weekend in "To the Wonder," the latest film from "The Tree of Life" director Terrence Malick.

Check out photos of Lindsay Lohan, Ashley Tisdale, more on the "Scary Movie 5" premiere red carpet!

"Scary Movie 5" sees Ashley Tisdale stepping in for Anna Faris and includes appearances from headline-makers Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen. The Wayans brothers were initially involved in the "Scary Movie" series, but have since departed. Marlon Wayans' "A Haunted House" opened with $19 million earlier this year. But the "Scary Movie" franchise name should prove to be much stronger.

"The original 'Scary Movie' spoofed the 'Scream' franchise, which attempted a revival two years ago, with 'Scream 4' launching 11 years after the threequel. That didn't quite work out as the series went out with a whimper," Exhibitor Relations box-office analyst Jeff Bock told MTV News. "Don't expect the same turn of events. Spoof movies are notoriously underestimated."

The franchise has made more than $800 million around the world. Bock predicted "Scary Movie 5" could pull in as much as $22 million, while IMDb.com's Keith Simanton was even more optimistic at $29 million. Ray Subers, of Box Office Mojo, pointed out that it's been six years since "Scary Movie 4" did $40 million, so he estimated a return of less than $20 million.

"42," starring newcomer Chadwick Boseman as Jackie Robinson, was recently screened for a group of students by Michelle Obama at the White House. Simanton predicted $17 million while Bock projected $18 million, which are both higher than the conservative $15 million Warner Bros. projected. The Los Angeles Times, however, put "42" ahead of "Scary Movie 5" at $20 million vs. $17 million.
"The wild card here is urban audiences," said Bock. "Will they turn out for one of the great heroes of African American sports culture or will they settle for the umpteenth spoof of horror films? Although faith in America is strong, my experience as a box office analyst tells me 'Scary Movie 5' takes the weekend."

As for Malick's latest? "'The Tree of Life' went on to gross over $50 million worldwide and was nominated for Best Picture— quite a feat for an art flick," Bock said. "But even with Ben Affleck's sudden career revival, don't expect a wide release for Malick's dramatic mind-bender as it hasn't been receiving reviews that are as glowing as they were for 'Tree of Life.' Plus, Magnolia Pictures doesn't quite have the reach, or marketing allure that Fox Searchlight does."

Last weekend's #1 film, the "Evil Dead" remake, should suffer the second-weekend decline typical of horror flicks, but should muster enough to remain in the top five. "The Croods" is on course to become the next "How to Train Your Dragon," which had an impressive run unabated by kid-friendly competition. "There is no direct competition until 'Epic' is released over Memorial Day. While 'The Croods' probably won't reach $217 million like 'Dragon' did, $185 million is not out of the question."

Tune in to the 2013 MTV Movie Awards Sunday at 9 p.m. when host Rebel Wilson takes the stage at the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver City, California. But first, don't miss our live red-carpet pre-show at 8:30 p.m., and be sure to watch our All Access Live streaming cameras all night long.

Getting it cracking! Tom Cruise gets messy in a game of egg roulette with Late Night's Jimmy Fallon

Getting it cracking! Tom Cruise gets messy in a game of egg roulette with Late Night's Jimmy Fallon
He may be a Hollywood action hero but Tom Cruise certainly let his guard down for late night TV on Friday.
The 50-year-old actor played a game of egg roulette with Jimmy Fallon and lost.
Tom picked from an assortment of raw and boiled eggs for the gag, and found out soon in the game things were about to get really messy.

Tom and Jimmy took turns picking from a carton holding eight boiled eggs and four raw eggs and smashed their chosen egg against their head. The game ends when someone breaks two raw eggs on their head and loses.
Tom went first and promptly smashed a raw egg against his hair, prompting Fallon to double over in laughter.
'I told you I didn't have a good feeling about this, man,' Tom told Jimmy with a smile.
Jimmy went next and picked a hard-boiled egg.
Tom on his second pick again chose a raw egg and broke it against his head.

It wasn't the first time that Tom and Jimmy squared off.
The two went eye-to-eye last December in a Water War game, which is based on the card game War and includes lots of water.
The winner of each hand got to douse his opponent with a cup of water and the first to run out of cups won the right to blast the loser with a toy water cannon.
Tom won and thoroughly drenched Jimmy.
The actor has been making the talk show circuit lately to promote his new sci-film Oblivion.

He visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night and also took part in a skit.
Kimmel gave Cruise an acting challenge by having him deliver ridiculous lines in a dramatic overtone.
'Is there a way to get the soup and the salad?' Tom asked as he was illuminated on the couch with a spotlight.
The Top Gun actor ended the dramatic query with his patented muscle-flurrying jaw clench.
In his new movie, Tom plays Jack Harper, a former Marine commander, in the sci-fi flick set in a not-too-distant future of 2073.

Jack is stationed on a fallen Earth following an alien invasion 60 years earlier.
The actor's character comes across an enigmatic stranger played by Olga Kurylenko who crash lands in a spacecraft and Jack is forced to question what he knows about Earth's near-destruction and life as he knows it.
The film also features British star Andrea Riseborough, Melissa Leo and Morgan Freeman.
Oblivion opens on April 19.

Bieber Backs a Debit Card for Teenagers, From Parents

Bieber Backs a Debit Card for Teenagers, From Parents
JUSTIN BIEBER earned $55 million in 2012, according to Forbes, but in new videos for the SpendSmart Payments Company, which offers a prepaid debit card for teenagers, the singer talks about his modest upbringing.

“You know when I was a kid, we didn’t have a lot of money, so me and my family had to watch the money that we spent,” Mr. Bieber says in a video directed at his young fans. “I learned if you have $100 or $100 million — if you spend more than you have, you’re going to go broke.”

Mr. Bieber urges viewers to “have a talk with your family about money” in the video. “Managing your money is important,” he says, “and there’s a great company that can help you do that called SpendSmart.”

The video, by BrandFire in Manhattan, will be shared by Mr. Bieber beginning Thursday on his YouTube channel (more than two million subscribers), Facebook page (more than 52.4 million followers), and on Twitter (more than 37.3 million followers).

Subsequent videos, called “Real Talk,” also will feature Mr. Bieber discussing financial literacy and encouraging teenagers to share their videos.

Mr. Bieber is being paid $3.75 million for a 14-month contract, along with potential monthly royalties tied to the growth of active SpendSmart cards, according to documents the company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The deal also, according to the filing, includes a stock option to buy two million shares of SpendSmart stock, which was trading at 38.8 cents a share Wednesday.

Noreen Jenney Laffey, president of Celebrity Endorsement Network, said she would have expected such a deal to earn Mr. Bieber closer to $2 million, but she lauded SpendSmart both for choosing the singer to reach teenagers and for focusing on social media rather than traditional advertising.

“The marketing strategy and the choice of talent for this is brilliant, as is merging it into his social media network,” Ms. Jenney Laffey said.

The SpendSmart card has a number of features intended to teach teenagers financial literacy while enabling parents to monitor them.

When teenagers use the card, which has a MasterCard logo, parents can be alerted instantly to the purchase through text messages and a smartphone app. Parents may pre-emptively block purchases from Web sites, and instantly lock the card after seeing anything objectionable. Real-time monitoring fosters what SpendSmart, in marketing materials, calls “teachable moments.”

Introduced in 2009 as BillMyParents, the card was first marketed mainly as a tool to let teenagers shop online with parental oversight. But for many the name BillMyParents equated parents with A.T.M.’s.

Thus, the company renamed the card and company SpendSmart to highlight its “mission of being a responsible teen spending company,” said Michael R. McCoy, who became chief executive of the company in 2011.

“Parents have an easier time talking about drugs and alcohol with their kids than the family budget and financial literacy,” said Mr. McCoy.

The average SpendSmart cardholder is 16, and the card is used most frequently to buy food (especially fast food), followed by gas, technology (like iTunes, electronics and games) and clothing.

A revamped SpendSmart Web site will be frequently updated with articles about financial literacy from Brafton, a content production agency.

There were seven million prepaid cards in circulation in 2012, more than double the number in 2009, according to CardHub.com, which monitors the industry.

A 2012 report by Consumer Reports criticized prepaid cards over exorbitant fees. Among 15 prepaid cards examined in the report, 13 charged monthly fees (from $2.95 to $9.95), 14 charged for A.T.M. withdrawals, 12 charged for checking balances at A.T.M.’s, and five charged for periods of inactivity.

SpendSmart fees include a monthly fee of $3.95; loading fees of $2.95 from a credit card or 75 cents from a checking account (a single scheduled monthly automatic payment from a checking account is free); $1.50 to withdraw from any A.T.M. (in addition to A.T.M. surcharges), and 50 cents for an A.T.M. balance inquiry; $7.95 for a replacement card; and $3 for 30 days of inactivity.

After reviewing the SpendSmart fee schedule, Michelle Jun, a lawyer with Consumers Union, which publishes Consumer Reports, said SpendSmart fees were not as high or numerous as those for many prepaid cards, but she still advised against the card.

“We would not recommend that parents use prepaid cards for their teens,” Ms. Jun said. “It doesn’t help your teen establish a credit history or a relationship with a financial institution, so we recommend going the traditional route and opening up a checking account at your bank or credit union of choice.”

In an appearance on the Fox Business Network in January, John Ulzheimer, president of consumer education at SmartCredit.com, said that fees for the SpendSmart card were lower than those for many cards. But “that’s like saying my broken arm is not as bad as your broken arm” because it is “comparing two bad things and trying to say that one is actually better,” he said.

“If you just take the monthly fee and nothing else — meaning that you do nothing else punitive so they can hit you with the fees,” Mr. Ulzheimer said of SpendSmart on Fox, “you’re still paying a little over $47 a year as an annual fee to get access to your own money.”

Before joining SpendSmart, Mr. McCoy ran the consumer credit division for Wells Fargo, and he said that during the height of the recession many consumers “got in over their heads because they just flat out spent too much.”

SpendSmart could help teenagers avoid the same fate, he said.

“Instead of trying to teach adults better spending habits, I thought, ‘My goodness, there has to be a different way,’ ” said Mr. McCoy. “We’re helping families to teach youth better spending habits.”

Drake Calls Out Chris Brown's 'Insecurities,' Says Rihanna Fell Into His Lap

Drake Calls Out Chris Brown's 'Insecurities,' Says Rihanna Fell Into His Lap
'At one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap,' Drake tells 'Keep It Thoro' of Chris Brown and Rihanna.
In song Drake is usually calm, measured and economical with his words, even when dealing in rap beef. On Friday (April 12) however, fans saw a different side of Drake when he went up to radio and took loud and direct shots at Chris Brown, while urging the media to just leave the drama alone.

"Don't ask me sh-- about that man when I come up there and leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake told hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson when he appeared on his "Keep It Thoro" Internet radio show, before bringing things a level higher and referencing Breezy's main squeeze Rihanna. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him, that I'm more popping than him and that at one point in life the woman that he loves fell into my lap.

"I did what a real n---a would do and treated her with respect," he continued, while being vague.
Drake seemed particularly bothered about the last round of interviews that Chris Brown did when he visited New York City in March, where he had to field constant questions about their beef. "All them things combined create an individual that comes up to your radio station and is just gonna do dumb sh--. It shouldn't be about tearing that man down. It shouldn't be about wanting to see me and him tear each other down," he barked. "We have an issue and it's either gonna drag out or maybe in ten years we'll laugh about it over drinks, just let us solve that sh--."

On March 29 Brown dropped some rap bars on Young Jeezy's "R.I.P." remix and suggested that Drake "come out the closet." Drizzy didn't seem overly concerned about a potential battle, a contest that he feels he'd win anyway. "I don't wanna hear that man rap, nobody wants to hear me rap against him. I really do this sh--," he boasted.

Nothing good can come from a Drake versus Chris Brown beef, Drizzy says and overall he is just focused on putting on his upcoming album Nothing Was the Same. "I'm not thinking about that man at all, or that girl, straight up," he said.

KRIS HUMPHRIES Accused Of Ripping Off Bev Hills Suit Shop

KRIS HUMPHRIES Accused Of Ripping Off Bev Hills Suit Shop
Kris Humphries swindled a Bev Hills suit shop out of thousands of dollars in designer threads ... by promising to deliver NBA clients in exchange for a discount ... this according to a new lawsuit.

K.H. is being sued by Scott Hill -- who claims he was approached by Kris and Kim Kardashian a few years ago in the hopes he would provide clothes for Kris.

According to the lawsuit, Hill says he struck an interesting deal with Kris -- I'll give you a 30% discount on clothes if you introduce me to at least 2 of your NBA player friends to my store within 12 months.

Hill says the NBA players didn't even have to buy anything -- he just wanted an intro. Easy enough, right?

According to Hill's suit, Kris agreed to the deal ... and proceeded to buy more than $46k in merchandise using his massive discount.

Problem is ... Hill claims Kris not only failed to deliver on his end of the bargain ... but he still owes more than $6k in unpaid suit bills.

Hill's suing for more than $52k in damages ... plus interest. No word back from KH's camp.

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Crashed Hanson Party For Birthday

Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson Crashed Hanson Party For Birthday
After having a fun party with all their friends at LA’s Malo Taqueria Restaurant, Rob and Kristen then hit up the No Vacancy bar, where they bumped into some very famous brothers!
Are Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart secret Hanson fans? The Twilight lovebirds celebrated Kristen’s 23rd birthday on April 9, and after a romantic and fun party at Malo Taqueria, they then took the party to the No Vacancy bar — only problem was, the Hanson brother’s were launching their new album there! Did Kristen and Rob dance to “MMMBop”?

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Party With Hanson
Rob, 26, and Kristen hit up the No Vancancy bar with a bunch of friends, including their co-star Nicki Reed! Rob and Kristen arrived at around 11:pm and spent time in both the main room and VIP area as part of a group of roughly a dozen people, reports E! News.

“They weren’t overly affectionate or anything, but at points they were standing together as they talked to friends,” the source says, adding that there was still there at 1:am.

So fun! Before Rob and Kristen partied with Isaac, Taylor and Zac, they had a PDA filled time at Malo Taqueria.

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Show PDA At Birthday Party
At the Mexican restaurant, the duo partied with a ton of friends, and there was sangria, dancing and PDA!

A source tells us that Robsten were surprisingly not “glued to each other’s side.”

“They were so cute together, they weren’t glued to each other’s side,” the eyewitness tells us. “Kristen was being a good hostess and working the room. But whenever they were standing near each other, they were touching. Rob had his arm draped around her a lot and every once in a while they’d sneak a kiss. They both looked so in love!”

“They were listening to indie rock, lots of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Father John Misty,” the source said. “It got pretty loud, it was a great party!”

A night of dancing with friends followed by a cool party with Hanson? It sounds like Kristen had the best birthday ever!

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think it’s funny that Rob and Kristen partied with Hanson?

Taylor Swift's '22' Gets Everyone Singing In New Diet Coke Ad

Taylor Swift's '22' Gets Everyone Singing In New Diet Coke Ad
It's one big karaoke party — across the country — in bubbly 'Music That Moves' commercial.

It's a big old karaoke party in Taylor Swift's new Diet Coke ad. Released just a week after Beyoncé's hot "Mirrors" commercial for Pepsi, Taylor's "Music That Moves" spot is fun because, well, as they say, only water can put out fire.

To put it simply, the immediate difference between the pop stars' new ads is that Beyoncé's Pepsi promo is all about, well, Beyoncé. In a three-way mirror, present-day Beyoncé dances with images of "Bootylicious" Bey, "Single Lady" Bey and "Crazy in Love" Bey, among other video alter egos, which means there are at least four Beyoncés winding and grinding ... and giving four times the sexy.
So how does Taylor compete with all the steam wafting from Queen Bey? She doesn't even try. Instead, Diet Coke takes the warm and um, fizzy, route (it's diet soda after all). In the clip, Taylor is seen coming up with the lyrics for her hit song "22." Soon everyone from grown men driving down the street to restaurant cooks to office clerks find themselves singing along to Swift's sticky-sweet pop/country tune. And it all culminates in the wide-eyed singer hitting the stage to rock out.

(It's also worth noting for those keeping track that while Taylor's ad features her smash "22," Beyoncé's ad premiered a new track called "Grown Woman.") But the message in Swift's ad is clear: the pop star makes and breaks records and, through it all, Diet Coke helps her "Stay Extraordinary." "I've said for years that Diet Coke just 'gets me' and my lifestyle. I'm so excited about our new partnership," Swift said in a press release when the partnership was announced back in January.

Swift currently on the road for her Red Tour, and she performed Sunday at the ACM Awards. As part of her partnership with the soda brand, Diet Coke share videos and messages to give fans a backstage pass into the singer's busy life.

Taylor announced via tweet that her ad will make its television debut tonight (April 11) during "American Idol."

Perez Hilton says his sources were wrong about Katy Perry and Russell Brand making out

Perez Hilton says his sources were wrong about Katy Perry and Russell Brand making out
Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton had the Internet all aflutter when he claimed his sources witnessed divorced couple Katy Perry and Russell Brand making out at a party. But Hilton has since taken to his blog to debunk the rumors and apologize to the singer and funnyman.

According to Perez Hilton, sources came forward Tuesday afternoon claiming to have spotted the “Wide Awake” singer and Forgetting Sarah Marshall actor making out. Less than an hour after the alleged breaking news, Hilton issued a new post stating that his sources were 100 percent wrong.

He has since deleted the original post.

Brand and Perry’s divorce became official last July after just 14 months of marriage.

Shortly thereafter, shock-jock Howard Stern pressed the Brand X host about his crumbled marriage to the pop princess, to which he admitted that although he loves her, distance was the main culprit in their split. However, he later commented on the marriage calling it a “drag” saying, “That marriage was shaky from the get-go, before I’d even got off the elephant.”

Rihanna Talks Heartache on Stage Amid Chris Brown Breakup Rumors

Is Rihanna once again dealing with a broken heart?

The subject certainly seemed to be on her mind Monday at a Staples Center concert in Los Angeles, as rumors of trouble with boyfriend Chris Brown have begun to circulate.

"How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don't f––ing understand it? I'm in that group," Rihanna said on stage, before singing "What Now," from her most recent album.

The lyrics to that song begin: "I've been ignoring this big lump in my throat/I shouldn't be crying, tears were for the weaker days/I'm stronger, now what, so I say/But something's missing."

As she was soul-searching, Brown was never far away – literally.

A source tells PEOPLE the singer quietly entered the arena and watched Rihanna's performance from close to the stage.

Rihanna, meanwhile, was all smiles during the show, according to concertgoers, even encouraging the crowd to get a little rowdy.

"Los Angeles, what the f––k?," she said at one point. "I live here now, so I know y'all can get ratchet."

Rihanna and Brown, 23, recently reunited, despite the 2009 incident that sent Brown to jail. Rihanna recently spoke of her happiness at having a fresh start with Brown.

Lindsay Lohan Calls Upcoming Rehab Stint 'A Blessing'

Though she smiled throughout the interview, Tuesday night's appearance by Lindsay Lohan on "The Late Show With David Letterman" was awkward, to say the least.

Seemingly caught off-guard by a line of questioning from the talk show legend about her upcoming stint in court-ordered rehab, Lohan told Letterman that the three-month stay at a lock-down facility is actually "a blessing."

"To be honest, I'm happiest when I'm working, the healthiest," Lohan said, putting a positive spin on a judge's decision last month
to let her avoid jail in a June 2012 car-accident case
in favor of 90 days in a lockdown rehab facility.

That exchange was one of the more friendly bits during the sit-down, which started off tensely, after Letterman asked, "Aren't you supposed to be in rehab now?" Lohan, wearing a 1960s-style flower print dress, stared blankly for a second and replied, "Do you not watch anything that goes on? Are you a tabloid now? May 2."

When Letterman followed by asking Lohan how many times she's been in rehab, she smiled and said, "several," then looked out at the audience with a smirk. (This is at least her sixth known attempt at rehab.) Letterman wanted to know how this time would be different and what, exactly, she was rehabbing from? "What's on the list ... what are they going to work on when you walk through the door?" he wondered.

Looking exasperated and biting her lip, Lohan avoided eye contact for a few moments and noted, "We didn't discuss this in the pre-interview." Letterman confirmed that, but pressed on. "To be honest, I'm happiest when I'm working, the healthiest," the "Scary Movie 5" actress responded. "And I think this is an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life. I don't think it's a bad thing. I think it's a blessing."
In fact, Letterman suggested, it could be both a life and career saver, to which Lohan nodded and agreed. "Now, do you have addiction problems?" he asked, continuing the line of questioning. "Now you sound like Dr. Phil," she deadpanned.

And it went on like that. He asked if it was alcohol and she said, "We've discussed this in the past." So he made a joke about how he was the one having the blackouts now and how he should be in rehab. "I'm just sayin'" she hit back with a grin.

In the second segment, Letterman got around to mentioning "Scary Movie," only to ask Lohan if she'd be at the premiere, or in rehab, and who was driving her there? "Jimmy Fallon," she quipped of his soon-to-be late night ratings rival. "And you," she added, grabbing Letterman's hand. "And Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels. No, I don't want people to think I'm making a joke of that."

Letterman then admitted there was a time he wasn't sure she'd ever be on his show again and praised her for having "enough spine, enough sense of yourself, enough poise to come out here and talk to me," which got Lohan a bit teary. Showing crack timing, though, she grabbed her "Late Night" mug and took a swig to gain her composure.

"Oh, I thought this was going to be vodka," she joked before Dave handed her a tissue to dab her eyes. "God bless you," he said at the end of the interview. "Good luck to you."

Taylor Swift opens up on her future: 'I have no idea if I'm going to get married or be single forever'

Taylor Swift opens up on her future: 'I have no idea if I'm going to get married or be single forever'
The lovelorn singer reveals she has no idea where she’ll be emotionally from one minute to the next.

Taylor Swift is unsure right now where the road of life will take her.
In a recent revealing interview in Wonderland Magazine, the famously known lovestruck singer says she doesn't know if happily ever after is in her future--but she's ok with it.

"I've kind of realized that I have no idea where I'm going to be next year, or in six months, or in two months."
"I just have no idea and I'm kind of into that," she admits on the uncertainty.

"I know where I'll be on tour in two months, but no idea where I'm going to be mentally, emotionally, dreams, goals, wishes, hopes. I have no idea if I'm going to get married or be single forever or have a family or just be on my own."

The star, who's chart-topping break-up ballads include " I Knew You Were Trouble" and "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" goes on to talk about what it feels like to really be heartbroken.
"It's very complex; you're never feeling just sad. Maybe you wake up and you feel sad, and then you get angry, and then you feel like 'I'm fine', and then you feel confident, and then you feel a sense of doubt, and then you're insecure, and then there's jealousy, and then you're back to sad - and then you feel fine again."
Swift has been romantically linked and split with some of Hollywood's hottest bachelors including Jake Gyllenhaall, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer and most recently One Direction's Harry Styles.
When it comes to relationships, the 23-year-old blond beauty explains that for her, "[they] are like traffic lights. And I just have this theory that I can only exist in a relationship if it's a green light."

Kelly Clarkson's wedding: Blake Shelton to officiate

Kelly Clarkson's wedding: Blake Shelton to officiate
Kelly Clarkson says Blake Shelton will officiate at her wedding to Brandon Blackstock, Shelton's manager.

"He's not only singing, he's marrying us," Clarkson told "Entertainment Tonight" at Sunday's 48th Academy of Country Music Awards. "He totally is, he's done it before with people."

Shelton, whom Clarkson had no problem referring to as "Reverend Blake," also will be officiating at the wedding of a bandmate of his wife, Miranda Lambert of the Pistol Annies.
The "American Idol" alum, 30, and Blackstock, who have been dating since late 2011, announced their engagement in December on Twitter. She posted a pic of her striking yellow canary diamond sparkler soon after.

"I wanted y'all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever," she wrote.

Clarkson said she's already picked out her wedding dress and the month of the nuptials, but the date keeps getting moved around because of conflicting schedules. Well, given that the officiant is not only an A-lister, best-selling country singer but also a coach on "The Voice," an award-show host and husband of ACM Award winner Lambert, we understand.

Apparently, Shelton had a hand in getting Clarkson and Blackstock together.

"I told Brandon, 'Man, you need to grow up and figure out that you need to marry this girl,' " Shelton told Hollyscoop in December. " 'I am going on the record saying, I will do the music at the wedding or whatever you want to do, I'll be that guy," he says, "I will play for four hours if I have to, cause you need to get you head out of your ... and ask that girl to marry you.' "

Well said, Blake.

The wedding is shaping up to be one of country music royalty, since Blackstock is the son of Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock, who just happens to be married to country legend Reba McEntire, according to People.

Sara Gilbert, Linda Perry engaged

Sara Gilbert, Linda Perry engaged
On ''The Talk" Monday she announced she and her girlfriend Linda Perry are planning to tie the knot.

Gilbert said Perry popped the question in a park about a week ago. The elaborate proposal included a performance of "Missing You" by John Waite.

Perry is a songwriter and producer.

"I had always said that I thought "Missing You" should be our song, and she thought that's so weird, that's a break-up song that can't be the song," Gilbert said as she told the cameras on "The Talk." "So she's been saying for a while, 'I want to have this picnic with you, let's go have this picnic.' And I'm at a park, why does she want to have a picnic? OK, let's go have a picnic."

Gilbert said a nearby guitarist, who she thought was just a street musician, started playing a song the couple likes.

"She goes, I'm going to ask him to play this other song. But it's really obscure and this guy wouldn't know it, but magically he knows it," Gilbert said. "I'm kind of, like, daydreaming and I'm thinking 'God, you know, if I ever proposed to her, this would be an amazing way to do it, but I would maybe have like string instruments and do, like, this whole production. And I'm going, 'But would I do it here?'"

Gilbert said just then a group of nearby picnickers, who were really a hired string group, joined the guitarist in a song.

"Then she goes to her Backpack, and she pulls out some t-shirts. And the first t-shirt says 'Will,' and she puts on another t-shirt, she puts on another, says 'You,' 'Marry,' 'Me.' The last one is a question mark. She gets a ring and I'm like, 'Well yeah, if after that spectacle, I'm like, yeah," Gilbert said.

Perry had also invited the couple's mothers and some friends to witness the proposal.

Recap: Ladies Rule in This Week’s Game of Thrones (Especially Diana Rigg)

Recap: Ladies Rule in This Week’s Game of Thrones (Especially Diana Rigg)
The third season of Game of Thrones is finally here, and we’re back to chronicle the TV adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s world of Westeros — and how it differs from the books — in a series of letters between Wired writers (and Game of Thrones fanatics) Erik Henriksen and Laura Hudson. Spoilers for this episode follow, obviously.

A brief review of “Dark Wings, Dark Words” and how it differed from the novels:
Bran: On the road north to the Wall, Bran meets Jojen Reed – a young boy who also shares his prophetic dreams – and Jojen’s combat-savvy sister Meera. In the books: Bran met the Reeds much earlier; they arrived at Winterfell after the death of Ned Stark and pledged the loyalty of their family to Robb. Before Theon’s invasion, Jojen even warned Bran of the attack by way of a dream: that the ocean (metaphorically, the soldiers from the Iron Islands) came to Winterfell and drowned the castle. Also, rather than traveling together to the Wall, the party split after Ramsay Snow sacked Winterfell, with the wildling woman taking young Rickon south and Jojen and Meera heading north beside Bran.

Robb: Talisa and Robb smooch a bit before Lord Bolton comes in and asks Robb what he wants first: the bad news, or the really bad news? They learn that not only is Catelyn’s father dead, but that Winterfell paid the Iron Price before Bolton’s bastard son could and get there, and Bran and Rickon are nowhere to be found. In the books: The scene where Talisa talks about marrying a grim foreigner never happened, since Robb’s wife wasn’t originally from Volantis — she was Jeyne Westerling, the daughter of a Lannister bannerman, whose castle Robb stormed (literally and figuratively). Jeyne comforted him after the “news” that Bran and Rickon had been killed, though on the show their deaths are far less “certain” and Robb and Catelyn till hope that they escaped. Finally, that whole story about baby Jon Snow having the pox and Catelyn swearing to love him if he survived — and then blaming herself for every problem in the world that happened after she couldn’t — is 100% TV.

Theon: After his abject failure at absolutely everything last season, Theon (and Winterfell) have been taken by the men of Ramsay Snow, the bastard son of Lord Bolton (a.k.a. the grim-faced bannerman who brings the two messages to Robb) for some good old-fashioned torturing. In the books: Unlike the Season 2 source novel, Clash of Kings, Theon isn’t actually a point-of-view character in Season 3 source novel Storm of Swords. So all of this? Totally new. And totally interesting for anyone who wondered what actually happened after Theon was taken by Ramsay.

Arya: The young Arry, who is still dressing as a boy, gets taken captive by the Brotherhood without Banners and taken back to an inn to explain how she, Gendry and Hot Pie escaped Harrenhal; they’re just about to let her go free when the Hound — also a prisoner — gets dragged in and reveals her identity. In the books: Arya isn’t recognized by the Hound but rather Harwin, a former guard of House Stark whom she encounters among the Brothers. And he doesn’t out her — rather, she begs him to remember her true name.

Joffrey: Cersei, who is already deeply jealous of Margaery’s influence over Joffrey, tries to poison her terrible son against his fiancee by bad-mouthing her for associating with Renly (and street urchins, because screw poor people). Joffrey shuts his mom down like whoa, but ultimately confronts Margaery in a way that gets terribly frightening for a instant. That is, until Margaery wraps him back around her finger with a combination of sexual innuendo and the one thing Joffrey loves most in the world: sadism. In the books: Yes, Cersei hates Margaery, and yes, Margaery charms Joffrey, but here’s the thing about these totally plausible (and awesome) scenes: They would have been impossible to depict in the book, because again, none of the people involved are point-of-view characters in Storm of Swords. Even though I’ve read the books many, many times, this episode had a lot to offer that felt both faithful to the books and totally new. *applause*

Jon: After fake-betraying the Night’s Watch (but real-killing ranger Qhorin Halfhand to make it believable) Jon gets taken to the Wildling leader Mance Rayder, also formerly of the Night’s Watch. Mance demands to know why Jon Snow betrayed his men, so Jon tells a story about how he saw Craster (aka Wildling Incest Grandpa) sacrificing his infant sons to the White Walkers; but Lord Mormont didn’t even care, and he (Jon Snow!) wants to fight on the side of the living, exclamation point. Poor Jon Snow is still a Stark at heart: even his lies are stupidly noble. In the books: Rather than thinking of the children, Novel Jon cited his second-class status as a bastard (and getting stuck in the nosebleed seats during the big Stark/Baratheon feast at Winterfell in the first novel) as his reason for turning cloak. Also, there was no Wildling warg looking ahead to the battle at the Fist of the First Men — they simply came upon the aftermath.

Sansa: After Sansa’s meeting with Littlefinger (and the warning from Ros), Shae tells Sansa to be on guard against the older man’s attentions and tries (vainly) to get Tyrion to protect her as well. Ser Loras escorts Sansa to meet with his sister, Margaery, and the truly awesome Tyrell grandmother, Lady Olenna Redwyne (aka 1960s Avengers star Diana Rigg) for a conversation about what Joffrey is really like. (Answer: the woooorst.) In the books: Pretty much the same — down to word-for-for dialogue from the ass-kicking Lady Olenna — though Shae’s ominous mother-lion protectiveness is TV-exclusive.

Jaime: The Kingslayer sets out for Riverrun in the custody of Brienne, who is sworn to deliver him to King’s Landing in return for Sansa and Arya. When they encounter a traveler whom Jaime thinks has recognized him, Brienne refuses to harm an innocent. Jaime is hugely unhappy about all of this — even though she’s taking him home! — so he steals a sword from Brienne, tries to fight her … and loses. And who finds them then, but Lord Bolton’s men… lead by that traveler they didn’t murder. In the books: Jaime and Brienne originally set out from Riverun with another Lannister captive, Jaime’s cousin Cleos, although he quickly dies rather quickly; the swordfight between Jaime and Brienne occurs when Jaime tries to take a weapon from his corpse. There is no tattletale traveler, so presumably they get caught just for being stupid and loud.

-Laura

Dear Rainman,

First, can we talk about how creepily deep your GoT knowledge is? Because I know you just did all that off the top of your head and JESUS.

Second, one of my favorite things about GoT is how people’s feelings about certain characters change over time; who would’ve thought when Jaime was introduced back in the pilot that he’d one day be the show’s sassy comic relief? (I feel like it should be a bad thing that the Brienne/Jaime scenes in this episode felt like an episode of Perfect Strangers… with Swords, but it was so entertaining that I can’t be upset.)

Third, I’m glad to see Jojen and Meera pop up; for the past two seasons, Bran’s more mystical elements have been hinted at, but thanks to the Reeds, it looks like they’re finally going to get delved into in earnest. It’s like the showrunners realized that now that they’ve gotten away with dragons, they can start putting all their other fantasy stuff into the show.
Like Martin’s books, the show has gradually introduced its more fantastical elements, putting them in so slowly and carefully that they won’t scare off people who think they don’t like fantasy. Still, I wonder if it’ll put off genre snobs when people realize how much sword and sorcery stuff actually happens in GoT. I had a Twitter interaction with an otherwise very smart lady last week who declared, “Now that I know dragons are in it, I’ll never watch Game of Thrones,” which just seemed so sad and closed-minded to me. But then again, I won’t watch The New Girl because of Zooey Deschanel. So I guess I’m a hypocrite.
Fourth, am I wrong in thinking that the Boltons and their gross obsession with flaying everything that moves haven’t been all that well established in the show? I wonder if viewers who aren’t familiar with the books will realize what’s happening to Theon, not to mention who’s doing it. Speaking of Boltons, here’s a little-known fun fact: Adult contemporary star Michael Bolton also enjoys flaying people.

Taylor Swift, John Mayer Light Up Stage At ACM Awards

Taylor Swift, John Mayer Light Up Stage At ACM Awards
A dose of Nashville sparkle took over Sin City on Sunday night when country music's biggest names took over MGM Grand Garden Arena for the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards. Hosted by Entertainer of the Year nominees Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, the glitzy Las Vegas show highlighted some of country music's finest musical moments from the last 12 months.
Collaborations and divas defined the night's performances. Miranda Lambert took the stage for "Mama's Broken Heart" and Carrie Underwood brought "Two Black Cadillacs" to the show. Although she didn't nab any trophies, Taylor Swift joined one-time song muse Tim McGraw and "American Idol" judge Keith Urban on McGraw's "Highway Don't Care."

At another point during the ACMs, John Mayer, who has been sporting a cowboy hat as of late, put that vibe to good use when he took the stage with Brad Paisley for Paisley's "Beat This Summer." Hunter Hayes had a special surprise during his performance of "I Want Crazy." The up-and-coming country star was joined by the legendary Stevie Wonder for "Sir Duke."

Check out CMT's complete coverage of the Academy of Country Music Awards!

In the end, though, Bryan would eventually go home the winner of the night's big prize, beating out his co-host. "It's OK, buddy," Shelton said. "Congratulations, buddy. You won Entertainer of the Year in your first — and last — year of hosting the ACM Awards."

But Shelton did go on to share the Song of the Year prize for "Over You" with his wife Lambert. She also won for Single Record of the Year for the single, as well as Female Vocalist of the Year.

"I didn't know what to say about song of the year because my husband was about to make me bawl, and I always bawl, so I was trying to hold it together," she told the room when she took the stage with Shelton to accept the Song of the Year prize. "As a songwriter, having your songs and your lyrics be recognized by your peers is pretty much as good as it gets.

Other winners include Jason Aldean (Male Vocalist of the Year), Little Big Town (Vocal Group of the Year), Florida Georgia Line (New Artist of the Year), Chief by Eric Church (Album of the Year), Thompson Square (Vocal Duo of the Year), "Tornado" by Little Big Town (Video of the Year),"The Only Way I Know" with Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan and Eric Church (Vocal Event of the Year) and Dallas Davidson (Songwriter of the Year).

Selena Gomez Releases 'Come & Get It' With 'No Regrets'

Selena Gomez Releases 'Come & Get It' With 'No Regrets'
Selena Gomez spent last week teasing fans with snippets of her new single "Come & Get It," and over the weekend she gave them the whole thing, a bit earlier than expected.
After the song was leaked early, Selena released the Stargate-produced track on Ryan Seacrest's website on Saturday, two days before it was scheduled to drop and eight days before she's scheduled to perform it at the MTV Movie Awards.

The new track combines a bhangra beat and vocal with a club-ready vibe and a dreamy bridge. And she seems completely onboard with her love affair on the dance track. "You got the kind of love that I want, let me get that/ And baby once I get it I'm yours no take backs/ I'm gon' love you for life I ain't leaving your side," she sings. "Even if you knock it ain't no way to stop it / Forever you're mine baby I'm addicted; no lie."

And, she addressed the leak in a video message to her fans.

"Hey guys, so my song got leaked today, my first single," she said. "I'm actually kind of excited because you can finally hear it! And I hope you guys like it."

The debut got so much attention that her Selenators managed to crash Seacrest's website. "Can't even stand it. #selenatorsarethebest," she tweeted on Saturday and one day later still seemed amped by the response. She wrote, "You guys made my day all day today. #Comeandgetitnow. Love you guys XOXO."

"Come & Get It" is the lead single off her summer album release. Gomez will perform the song at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14 when she takes the stage in Culver City.

Madonna's daughter will be in for an earful from her famous mum over reports suggesting the teenager has landed her first proper boyfriend.

Lourdes, 16, has been linked to Homeland star Timothee Chalamet, according to New York gossip column Page Six.

A source tells the publication, "It's common knowledge at the school that the pair are dating."

The pair reportedly fell for each other after meeting at the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York, where they are both pupils.

Chalamet plays Vice President William Walden's son Finn in the hit U.S. drama and will have to go to great lengths to impress his girlfriend's mother - who is famously strict when it comes to Lourdes.

Before the wannabe actress headed off to school, Madonna was asked if her daughter had started dating, and the singer replied, "No!", before giving a stern grimace.
